LEWISTON — Central Maine Medical Center has announced its sixth annual Arbor House Helicopter Ball Drop will be at 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 21, at Martindale Country Club in Auburn.
The event will support the CMMC Arbor House.
Raffle tickets are sold representing numbered golf balls, and then the numbered balls are dropped onto a target from a helicopter above. The owner of the golf ball that lands closest to the target wins the cash prize. Participants do not need to be present to win.
Ticket levels are: $100 for a one in 50 chance to win $2,000; $50 for a one in 100 chance to win $1,500; $20 for a one in 300 chance to win $1,000; or $10 for a one in 400 chance to win $500.
The event will feature a social hour complete with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, as well as entertainment provided by local musicians Debbie Morin and Denny Breau.
The Arbor House is a free place for families to stay while coping with unexpected challenges resulting from hospital stays.
