BRIDGTON — The Lake Region Community Chorus has announced the performance dates for its fourth annual spring concert.
Concerts are scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday, May 13, and 3 p.m. Sunday, May 15. Performances are at the Twitchell Chapel at Bridgton Academy.
The 55-member chorus from 14 Lake Region area towns will sing songs by a variety of composers, including Vivaldi, Stephen Foster, Harry Belafonte, Joni Mitchell and The Beatles.
The chorus is directed by Jan Jukkola, Susan Stockwell and John Waldie. The group is accompanied by Carolyn Stanhope, Sara-Sue Schreiber and John Waldie. Joining the chorus will be instrumentalists Zachary Gray, Paul Greenstone, Ed Hamaty, Greg Huang-Dale, Alex Ricks and Rusty Wiltjer, enhancing the music with their magical accompaniment.
The event is free and open to the public, but donations will be accepted. Seating is limited.
