Al was a member of the Teamsters Union, having worked for Douglas Motors, Capital Motors, HP Hood and Sanborn’s Motor Express. Al will be remembered by many horse enthusiasts for his riding stable at Maple Hill Farm in North Auburn. His greatest love was Harley-Davidson motorcycles. He spent countless hours riding through the Northeast and attending motorcycle events from Maine to Florida. Al’s final Harley ride was to his daughter-in-law, Cyndi Webster’s celebration of life in August 2015 with his wife, Beverly, in the sidecar of his 1997 Harley FLH. We considered him a legend!

Dad, Gramps, Al or Alvin, whatever you called him, he leaves a huge void in our lives.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Central Maine Medical Center, the Maine Veterans’ Home and all the friends and family who visited, called and prayed for Dad and the family.
