Someone asked the governor if he will be running against U.S. Sen. Angus King.  LePage said he will run if he’s not in Washington, which did get applause.

In LePage’s May 4 town hall in Lewiston, LePage told the crowd if he was not working for the Trump administration, he would like to run against King in 2018. He quickly clarified that he would run only if his wife let him.

LePage touched on his typical talking points that included lowering taxes, reforming welfare, and cutting energy costs.

LePage will hold another town hall next week. The location has not been announced.
