FARMINGTON — The Franklin Memorial Hospital Auxiliary Scholarship Committee has announced seven recipients of the West Central Maine Health Careers Scholarship Program.
Scholarships are presented to students residing in the Franklin Memorial Hospital service area who are pursuing careers in the health care field.
Each student will be awarded a $600 scholarship from the auxiliary upon successful completion of their first or next semester. Nursing students include:
• Althea Mae Drummond of Livermore Falls who attends Husson University.
• Shawnee Mae Ellis of New Vineyard who attends the University of Maine at Fort Kent.
• Amanda Cote of Strong who will attend the Maine College of Health Professions.
• Lauren Farrington of Jay who will attend the Maine College of Health Professions.
• Jennifer Nichols of Jay who attends Liberty University.
• Cassidy Mosher of Temple who will attend the University of Maine at Fort Kent.
• Randi Duguay of Jay who attends Husson University.
