LEWISTON — The SELF-e Indie Writers Workshop concludes Friday, May 20, at the Lewiston Public Library with “Online Book Marketing.”

Melissa Walshe will discuss how to market self-published e-books from 3 to 4 p.m. in the Jeanne Couture Room.

Participants may bring specific questions related to their own work, but beginners are also welcome.

Walshe published her first book, “Autumn’s Daughter,” in 2014 and will soon release the sequel, “Autumn’s Sister.” She is a professional copywriter for shines & jecker laboratories, where she is currently developing the website www.readmaine.com. She has an Ed.M. in language and literacy from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a B.A. in linguistics from the University of Southern Maine.

The SELF-e Indie Writers Workshops are part of a joint effort by the Lewiston and Auburn public libraries to support local writers and promote SELF-e, the new library service that allows any Lewiston or Auburn library cardholder to publish their original e-books through the libraries.
