‘Finding Our Voice’ in Paris
PARIS — Anita White will lead the worship service at 10 a.m. Sunday, May 15, at the First Universalist Church on Pine Street. The topic is “Finding Our Voice.”
Music is under the direction of Donna Hurd. Coffee and fellowship will follow the worship service. Child care is available, and the church is wheelchair-accessible.
The First Universalist Church of South Paris welcomes and celebrates all beliefs.
Pastor to speak on revelation
LEWISTON — Pastor Rick Kuntz will present “Understand Revelation: Hope when the world is spinning out of control!” at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday, May 20, 21 and 22, at The Ark & Olive Branch Cafe, 791 Lisbon St.
Calder to speak at Greene Baptist
GREENE — Evangelist Wendell Calder will speak at 6 p.m. Saturday, May 21, at Greene Baptist Church, 102 Main St.
The Rev. Calder has served in Christian ministry for more than 50 years. He has been providing local church evangelism since 1975 and has spoken throughout the U.S. and Canada as well as many other countries. In 1970, Calder founded Living Waters Bible Conference.
Dinner at the church will precede the service at 5 p.m.
Calder will also join the church for service at 10:45 a.m. Sunday, May 22.
Daughters of Isabella meet
JAY — Daughters of Isabella 677 from St. Rose of Lima recently held its May business meeting.
Thank-you cards received were read and get well cards were sent out. The summer outing was discussed, and it will be held on Aug. 3; they will determine the location at the May social.
The Daughters will have a light luncheon for the reception after the baccalaureate on Friday, June 10. Any Daughter wishing to make a dish should bring it to the Parish Hall at 6 p.m.
