LEWISTON — Geiger, publisher of the world-famous Farmers’ Almanac and the largest privately held promotional products distributor in the world, recently presented its annual President’s Awards.

The Geiger President’s Awards are the highest recognition that may be conferred on employees. This year, President’s Awards were presented to two teams at Geiger’s annual “state of the company” meeting.

The first team to receive the award was the Facilities Management Team consisting of Peter Gill, facilities manager, and Ned Johnson, electro/mechanical technician. The team earned the award for its above-and-beyond tag-team effort to explore alternatives, take calculated risks and resolve a time-sensitive mechanical issue with the heating system.

The second award was presented to the Systems Migration Team of Mike Truchon, vice president for sales and customer experience; Sylvia Schrock, customer service supervisor; Matt Dunn, Mike Randall, Tim Roy, Amber Perron and James Ayotte, promotional products experts; Tim Bouchard, product data manager; Nat Bullock, product responsibility and global services manager; Shawn White, director of business applications; Max Grover, business systems analyst II; and Sharon Zylla, division controller.

The Systems Migration Team spent many hours in development meetings and testing, resulting in a smoother-than-expected transition of the Crestline Division’s order entry system to the Geiger Priority Plus platform.

President’s Award recipients are presented with engraved awards suitable for display and gift cards.
