• Lorene de Aranzeta, a New England native who has served as a teacher and administrator at schools in Florida for over 15 years, will join the Holy Savior staff to oversee the grades three to five classroom. She has worked with several global learning organizations during her career, including the National Youth Leadership Conference.
• Kathy Kellogg and Diane Shorey will both return to oversee the grades six to eight classrooms. The partnership will be a collaborative effort between Holy Savior and Saint Dominic Academy. The academy will manage the administrative, financial and curriculum oversight for Holy Savior, while Holy Savior Parish will continue to provide the pastoral care and spiritual leadership for the school.
A committee of representatives from both schools and the superintendent of Maine Catholic Schools will conduct monthly reviews of the partnership.
