On Friday, May 20, Back Woods Road will perform at Guthries, 115 Middle St., Lewiston. Back Woods Road is an energized, acoustic band known for its tight harmonies, hard driving lead solos, and crowd-pleasing diversified choice of music and arrangements. There’s never an ordinary song for this band. They take it up a notch and one further. Members are Rich Bernier (dobro, guitar, Weissenborn and vocals); Jane Bernier (guitar, mandolin and vocals); Mike Conant, (banjo, fiddle and vocals); and Shawna Bell (bass and vocals).
