FREEPORT — The wedding of Heather Raye Clark and Anthony Joseph Thum was held on Aug. 8, 2015 at St. Jude Church in Freeport. Msgr. Richard Arnhols officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Thum is the daughter of John and Louise Clark of Poland Spring. Mr. Thum is the son of Dr. Robert Thum and Dr. Lilyann LaSala of Woodcliff Lake, N.J.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a slim fitted gown with sweetheart neckline accented with crystals and embroidery and soft English net ruches throughout the entire gown. She carried a bouquet of white hydrangea, purple succulents and roses accented with scabosia pods and dusty miller.
Hilary Clark served as honor attendant for her sister. Bridesmaids were Kayla Collins and Carmen Rioux, friends of the bride, and Elena Gerber, cousin of the bridegroom.
Jason Garabedian, cousin of the bridegroom, and Dr. Anthony Scoccimarro, friend of the bridegroom, were best men. Ushers were Matthew Ryan and Dr. Paul Gianella, friends of the bridegroom.
A reception followed at the Portland Country Club in Falmouth, after which the couple traveled to a resort in Puerto Rico followed by a seven-day Caribbean cruise. They are residing in Clifton, N.J.
The bride is a 2007 graduate of Poland Regional High School and received a bachelor’s degree in rehabilitation services from the University of Maine at Farmington in 2011. She is a teacher at Ridge Elementary School in New Jersey.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Don Bosco Preparatory High School in 2005 and received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Marist College in 2009. He is administrator of sales and operations for Azzurro Systems Integration.
