WEBSTER — Barbara E. (Durgin) Gelinas, 84, of Wyman Street died Wednesday, May 18, in her home.

She was born in Fryeburg, the daughter of the late Freeman E. and Esther (Bartlett) Durgin, and has lived in Webster for the past 40 years. Mrs. Gelinas was a spinner in several area mills, but enjoyed spending most of her life caring for her children and her home. She loved sewing.

She is survived by two children, P. Herbert Hill and his wife, Karen, of Norway and Juanita A. Moscoffian and her, husband, Bob of Oxford; two brothers; two sisters; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, and nieces.

She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Gelinas Sr., who died in 1989. She was also predeceased by six brothers and sisters.
