The Healthy Community Coalition of Greater Franklin County will host several Mobile Health Unit outreach events in June.
Staff will offer services including blood pressure and cholesterol checks; cancer prevention; nutrition, physical activity and tobacco information; one-on-one health counseling; lead-poisoning prevention; body composition analysis, a tracking tool for weight-loss and fitness and nutrition programs; well water safety information; car seat assistance; and assistance with referrals to health assistance programs.
All services are provided free.
Phillips: 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Friday, June 3, at Edmunds’ Market.
Rangeley: 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, June 3, at Rangeley IGA.
Wilton: 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, June 7, at Food City.
Livermore Falls: 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, June 8, at Food City.
Stratton: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 25, as part of Stratton Family Fun Days.
