NEW GLOUCESTER — The New Gloucester Democratic Committee will host the ninth annual Rooting for Democracy Plant Sale from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 4, at Lil’ Mart on Route 100.

Rain date is Saturday, June 11.

Plants of all varieties will be offered including perennials, annuals, house plants, vegetables and herbs.

There will be a raffle to win a Lobster of the Month Club membership at Fishermen’s Net in Gray, a $100 value. Tickets cost $3 each, or $5 for two. The drawing is at noon on the day of the sale. Ticket holders do not need to be present to win.
