LEWISTON — The Stanton Bird Club of Lewiston and Auburn has announced its June events.

There will be a trip to the Brunswick Landing (former Naval Air Station) on Wednesday, June 8. The group will meet at the Food City shopping center, 583 Lisbon St., Lisbon Falls. The group will look for spring migrants.

There will be a Wednesday Walk from 8 to 11 a.m. on June 22 on the Riverside Trail from Sunnyside Park to Tall Pines Drive in Lewiston. The focus will be on breeding birds.

Meeting place is at the Promenade Mall parking lot, 855 Lisbon St. Walk is about 2 miles in length on an even surface. Trip leaders Stan and Joan DeOrsey will identify and comment on the birds they see and hear, while participants may point out any birds they notice.

All field trips are open to everyone and include carpooling from the meeting place.
