Mixers Bar, 136 Sabattus Road, will showcase double the trouble with two bands, The Ge3ks and Girls Just Want To Have Fun (an ’80s ladies tribute band) on Friday, May 27. There is no cover charge. Fun begins when the doors open at 6 p.m.; the band starts at 8:30 p.m. The Ge3ks, Eric Hartmann, Jay Staples, Jerry Perron and Martin Noyes, play the best of the ’80s — pop, dance, new wave, hard rock, rap and one-hit wonders. Girls Just Want to Have Fun, featuring Kathy Allen on drums, Andrea Delan Parker doing vocals, Kylie McInnes on lead guitar, Heather Hinton on bass and Tony Michaud on keyboard, doing female-fronted tunes from bands such as Vixen, Heart, Pat Benatar, Joan Jett, Quarterflash, Scandal, 4 non Blondes, Bangles and others.
