MECHANIC FALLS — Friends and neighbors recently gathered with Harriett Driscoll at Merrill Estates to celebrate her 30th anniversary as a resident.

Merrill Estates is a small senior housing development operated by Auburn Housing Authority on Spring Street.

Also in attendance were her daughter and son-in-law, as well as Auburn Housing Authority staff.
