LEWISTON — Brian Daniels of Lewiston has been awarded the 2016 Dominic J. Roux Scholarship from Central Maine Credit Union.

Daniels is a graduate of Oak Hill High School and is entering his senior year at Husson University in Bangor, majoring in physical education.

Every year, the credit union presents the $1,000 Dominic Roux Scholarship Award, named after its first CEO, to one of its members. Central Maine Credit Union members currently enrolled in or pursuing higher education may apply for the credit union’s annual scholarship, which may be used toward college expenses.
