1925 – 2016

FARMINGTON — Doris W. Chandler, 91, of Jay passed on her wedding anniversary, Saturday, May 28, at the Sandy River Center for Healthcare in Farmington.

She was born in Livermore Falls on May 11, 1925, a daughter of Ozem and Hattie (McKay) Wagner, and received her education in local schools. On May 28, 1943, she married Hayden Chandler in Dryden. He died July 21, 1999.

She was employed at G.H. Bass for many years and was a faithful member of the Livermore Falls Church of the Nazarene. Doris enjoyed reading, crocheting and knitting, and visiting with relatives.

She is survived by sons, Kerry of New Hampshire and Bradley and his wife, Linda, of Livermore Falls; a daughter-in-law, Dottie, of Pennsylvania; a brother-in-law, Lawrence “Rusty” Lee, of Weld; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter.

She was predeceased by a son, Larry.
