1930 – 2016

WILTON — Bernard Woods, 86, of Wilton died Thursday, May 26, at his home.

He was born in Massachusetts, on May 18, 1930, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in Germany at the end of World War II.

He was a longtime employee of G.H. Bass & Co. in Wilton and was devoted to the town of Wilton and the Catholic church.

He is survived by a daughter, Veronika Voss of California; sons, Bernard Woods Jr. and Michael Woods, both of Chicago, Ill.; siblings, Douglas Woods and Jerry Woods; and a half-sister, Linda Harris; half-brother, Bruce Harris; and a granddaughter, Katia Voss of California.
