The Chicks With Sticks Steel Drummers will perform on at 6 p.m., Tuesday, June 7, at the gazebo beside the Turner Public Library, as part of the Music for Mavis summer concert series. The Chicks With Sticks, from left Diane Mawhinney, Josh Caron (Sticks), Dee Kersey and Jill Longstaff perform a repertoire of island street dance music, from calypso favorites to Jimmy Buffet, reggae and popular hits. Rain location will be inside the library on Route 117 in Turner Center. This is a free public concert, and any freewill donations will go to support the concert series
