LISBON — Zachary Greene, 23, of Lisbon remained jailed Tuesday, a day after being charged with leaving the scene of a fatal truck-motorcycle crash.

Greene was turning from Lisbon Street onto Memorial Street when his truck struck a motorcycle driven by Jeff Sickel, 28, of Brunswick on Saturday night, according to Lisbon Detective Bill Tapley.

Greene was arrested Monday in Lisbon and his truck is being examined for evidence. Police are also looking for witnesses to the collision, Tapley said.

Greene was being held at the Androscoggin County Jail on charges of leaving the scene of a personal-injury accident and violating conditions of bail. His bail is set at $2,000 and he is scheduled to go to court Wednesday.

Sickel suffered extensive head injuries and was taken to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, where he died Monday afternoon, Police Chief David Brooks said.
