LIVERMORE — Incumbent Selectman Mark Chretien and Wayne Timberlake were elected to the Board of Selectpersons Tuesday.

Chretien received 259 votes, and challenger Raymond Castonguay received 161.

Timberlake, who previously served on the board, received 247 votes to unseat current Chairman Peter Castonguay. Castonguay received 164 votes.

Town Clerk Renda Guild and Treasurer Amy Byron, both unopposed, retained their positions. Guild received 386 votes, and Byron received 367.

No one officially ran for the open Regional School Unit 73 school board seat. Current RSU 73 director Mark Holt, who chose not to seek re-election for family reasons, received nine write-in votes. On Sunday, he said he would consider the position and that he would speak with his family and Superintendent Kenneth Healey. He said he may not be able to attend some meetings.

Jennette Merrill received six votes, and Sarah Delaney received two.

Guild, also deputy registrar of voters, said 424 voters cast ballots.
