LEEDS — The 5th Annual Rural Community Action Ministry’s Auction for Action! will be held Saturday, June 25, at the Leeds Community Church, 123 Church Hill Road.
Proceeds will provide services for the most vulnerable residents in RCAM’s 13-town service area. Music, refreshments, preview of the live auction items, and the silent auction will begin at 6 p.m., with the live auction beginning at 7:30.
Errol “Abe” Additon of Leeds will be the auctioneer and singer-songwriter Mike Ladd of Wayne will provide the entertainment.
This year’s selections include Red Sox tickets, handmade blankets and quilts, furniture, a family membership to the Farnsworth Museum, tickets for the Casco Bay Ferry, tickets to the Portland Museum of Art and the Ogunquit Museum of Art.
Also, day passes to the Maine Wildlife Farm in Gray, guest passes to the Maine Botanical Gardens in Boothbay, jewelry, brunch at the Senator Inn & Spa, a rug, holiday decorations and gift cards to local businesses.
Admission is $10 for adults, $25 for families with two adults and children. This includes refreshments, music and the auction.
Businesses, schools or organizations interested in making a donation for the auction are asked to call the RCAM office at 207-524-5095 to arrange for someone to pick up items.
