DIXFIELD — The $38.23 million budget for Regional School Unit 10 was passed by voters Tuesday, even though results from two towns had not been reported.

The results were: Buckfield, 88-57; Canton, 83-26; Carthage, 24-10; Dixfield, 263-183; Hartford, 50-42; Mexico, 139-89; Peru, 219-109; Rumford, 679-414; Sumner, 42-32.

Roxbury rejected the budget, 26-33.

Results from Byron and Hanover were unavailable Wednesday.

Superintendent Craig King said he was appreciative for the vote.

“We know that it’s a challenge to raise that much money,” he said Wednesday afternoon. “We’re as frugal as we can (be) to support our kids.”
