1975 – 2016

OXFORD — Daniel Scott Pulkkinen, 41, of Hebron Road, Oxford, died unexpectedly at his home Tuesday, June 14.

He was born March 6, 1975, in Lewiston, the son of Dwinal and Martha Pulkkinen.

Danny was a 1993 graduate of Edward Little High School and was a member of the U.S. Air Force from 1994 to 1996.

He was most recently employed by Pioneer Plastics in Auburn, and had previously worked in carpentry and property maintenance.

Danny loved the outdoors, hunting and ice-fishing with his lifelong friends and family, especially “Big Man.” He enjoyed drawing, trips to the family camp up north and playing the drums. He was a devoted husband, father and stepfather and enjoyed being involved with the kids. He was a joker at every function he attended. He was a loving, talented individual and will be missed.

He is survived by his wife, Alisha D. Pulkkinen of Oxford; his daughter, Emma Pulkkinen of Mechanic Falls; his stepson, Noah J. Britton of Oxford; his parents of Turner; his sister, Jody Donahue and her husband, Rick, of Hebron; his brother, Travis Pulkkinen and his partner, Bonnie Gagne of Monmouth; nieces, Alana, Aliza and Ava Pulkkinen, and Shayla Samson; his nephews, Ryan Samson and Xavier Arsenault; aunts, uncles and cousins.
