PARIS — The Christian Women United luncheon will be served at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 21, at the South Paris First Congregational Church.

Immediately following the luncheon, classically trained singer Sarah Porter will perform.

Admission: $8, and there will be a free-will offering.

CHESTERVILLE — The Chesterville Grange will hold a public “souper” supper from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, June 24.

Homemade soups, chowders and desserts will be served.

RUMFORD — A spaghetti supper and dance will be held Friday, June 24, at the Rumford Eagles.

This is a benefit for resident Marlene Bradbury, who lost her house in a fire on May 12.

Dinner will be served from 5 to 7 p.m., and the dance will be from 8 p.m. to midnight. There will be a 50/50 raffle, Chinese auction and a door prize.

Admission to the dinner is $10 per adult, $4 for children, and free for kids younger than 7.

Admission to the dance, which is open to those 21 and older, is $10.

LISBON — Nina Rebekah Lodge No. 86 and Sabattus River Lodge No. 21 will sponsor a public turkey dinner from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, June 24, at Odd Fellows Hall, 27 Village St.

Admission: $7 for adults; $3.50 for children 12 and younger; free for pre-school aged children.

AUBURN — The Sixth Street Congregational Church will host a baked bean and American chop suey dinner from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 25, at 109 6th St.

LISBON FALLS — The Methodist Women Lisbon United Methodist Church will sponsor a homemade baked bean and ham supper from 5 to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 25, on School Street.

Admission: $7 for adults; $3 for children 6 to 12; and free for children 5 and younger.

NORWAY — Deering Memorial United Methodist Church, Bolsters Mills United Methodist Church and the Norway Grange will offer free community breakfasts from 8 to 9 a.m. Saturdays at the Norway Grange Hall on Whitman Street.

This event is open to anyone hungry for a warm breakfast or who simply would enjoy a time of fellowship. There is no income eligibility requirement to enjoy a hot meal.
