FORT KENT — Awards and scholarships were presented to University of Maine at Fort Kent students at the senior class banquet and awards convocation on May 13.
Anita Plog of Strong received the Top Student Award for Outstanding Senior Honor, which is voted upon by members of the Student Senate.
Kate Susanna Dorsey of Freeport received the Outstanding Traditional Nursing Student Award.
Benjamin Andrew Hall of Winthrop received the John L. Martin Environmental Scholarship.
Emily M. Gardner of New Sharon received the Presidential Award for Academic Excellence.

BURLINGTON, Vt. — Paul Webster-Pact of Wales participated in the 2016 Game Studio Senior Show at Champlain College.
Webster-Pact was involved in creating nine different games that were presented to game industry recruiters from around the U.S. and Montreal.

ITHACA, N.Y. — Poland native and candidate for the Maine House of Representatives Elijah Breton has been honored with a Campus Life Award, recognizing his contributions to the Ithaca College community through participation and involvement in campus life. Breton is a member of the Class of 2016.

LIMESTONE — Spencer J. Ward of Lewiston, a student at the Maine School of Science and Mathematics, has been awarded a National Merit University of Maine Scholarship.

EASTON, Pa. — Lafayette College honored students for academic excellence at the annual All-College Honors Convocation, including two graduates of Lewiston High School.
Heather MacNeill of Lewiston, Class of 2016, was the recipient of the George H. Catlin Prize, awarded to seniors with the highest averages in the study of the classics.
Dustin Morris of Lewiston, Class of 2017, was the recipient of the James L. Dyson Geology Award, presented annually to students majoring in geology who, by academic achievements and character, exemplify the ideals by which James L. Dyson lived and worked.

GOSHEN, Ind. — Abby Dunn, a senior elementary education major from Auburn, was named Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athlete for winter and spring sports at Goshen College. Dunn is a member of the Goshen College Women’s Track and Field team.
