NORWAY — The Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine, 199 Main St., has announced its July calendar. All activities are free to those impacted by cancer.
Drop-in hours are Thursdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m
Volunteers are available to provide comfort items such as port protectors, wigs, hats, pillows or to find resources. Brochures and the lending library are available for use.
The center will be closed Friday, July 1.
Events include:
Sidewalk Art Show: 9 to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 9. Visitors can buy a raffle ticket for a chance to win a photograph donated by Chris Reis.
Coloring for Adults: 1 to 2 p.m. Thursdays.
Women’s Cancer Support Group: Noon to 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 5. FMI: 207-744-6173.
Community Cancer Cut and Sew: 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, July 13 and 27; 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, at Sew Orchid Design, 316 Main St.
Knitting and Crocheting: 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, July 7.
Cards and Games: 1 to 2:30 p.m. Fridays.
