1939 – 2016
AUBURN — Kathleen D. (Pelletier) Crosby died in faith on Friday, June 17, at Androscoggin Hospice House in Auburn.
Kathy was born Jan. 10, 1939, at home in St. John, to Denis and Marie (St. Jarre) Pelletier. Kathy graduated from Fort Kent Community School in 1958.
She married Gordon Crosby on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 24, 1960, in St. John. The couple later moved to Greene and raised three sons. Kathy was a medical technician at d’Youville Pavilion for nearly 30 years. She spent many years attending the Greene Baptist Church and East Auburn Baptist Church.
Kathy is survived by her husband, Gordon; their three sons and their wives, Skip and Beth Crosby of Poland; Mark and Tina Crosby of Greene and Craig and Bridget Crosby of Leeds; and five siblings, Marylyn Pelletier of Plaistow, N.H., Jeannette and Clifton Pelletier, George and Nancy Pelletier and Annette and Paul Grant, all of St. John, and Mona and Roger Roy of Gorham. Kathy also leaves behind six grandchildren, Gabriel, Taylor, Kendra, Jedidiah, Faith Elizabeth and Asher.
Kathy was predeceased by her mother and father; and her sister, Madeline Pelletier.
The family extends special thanks to Michelle Arthur and the other staff at Androscoggin hospice.
