1934 – 2016

LEWISTON — Frances A. Chase, 81, of Lisbon Falls passed away Saturday, June 4, at the Marshwood Center in Lewiston.

She was born in Lewiston on July 24, 1934, to parents Fernand and Esther (Brown) Lavoie.

Frances worked for the Lisbon school department for 31 years as a custodian and retired in the spring of 2015.

She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as going to yard sales.

Surviving her are her sister, Beatrice Daggett; son, Stanley L. Craig and wife, Sandra, of Lisbon Falls; daughter, Deborah Goodwin of Lisbon Falls; grandchildren, Jeffrey S. Craig and wife, Samantha, Michelle Koehling, Nicholas L. Craig and wife, Laura, Gary Nadeau, Kenneth Goodwin and wife, Ashley, and Kasey Ouellette and husband, Corey; great-grandchildren, Faith Koehling, Teegan Marstaller, Gage Craig, Slevin Craig, Maddie Goodwin, Colton Goodwin and Silas Ouellette.

Frances was predeceased by her husband, George (Bud) Chase; her father, Fernand Lavoie; her mother, Esther (Brown) Lavoie; and her great-granddaughter, Hailey Goodwin.
