The Youth Ensemble of New England, under the direction of Dr. Connie Rittenhouse Drexler, will present a free public concert of sacred and classical music at 7 p.m. Friday, July 1, at the Woodstock SDA Church, 25 Perkins Valley Road. The orchestra comprises 30 young musicians, ages 10 to 20, and has performed around the United States, Canada and Europe. The orchestra will perform works of the great masters, including Purcell, Bach, Mendelssohn and Dvorak, as well as great hymns and sacred works.
