LEWISTON — Members of the Alden M. Gayton American Legion Post No. 31 and Auxiliary Unit No. 31 will host a veterans’ appreciation ride and bike night Friday, June 24. 

All proceeds will go toward purchasing holiday food baskets, heating assistance and other needs of local veterans.

Motorcycle riders will meet at 6 p.m. at L-A Harley-Davidson on Main Street. Ride will be around Lake Auburn and finish at the Alden M. Gayton American Legion, 426 Washington St. North, Auburn.

There will be burgers and hot dogs for sale, drink specials and raffles. The band Graffiti will play at 7:30 p.m.
