1932 – 2016

AUBURN — Wilfred N. Quintal, 83, passed away Wednesday, June 22, at the Hospice House in Auburn at 8:45 a.m. as a result of cancer of the pancreas.

He was born Oct. 29, 1932.

He is survived by his wife, Lorraine L. Toussaint, whom he married in 1958; his sons, Michael and James Quintal; his grandson, Cameron Quintal; his daughter-in-law, Nancy Quintal, the wife of James; and many nieces and nephews.

He is the son of Victor and Blanche Quintal, and was born and raised in the Gardiner area.

He worked at Knapp Shoe and Bates Mill, and, after retiring, worked part-time at Hannaford and Re/Max in Auburn. He will be very missed.
