LEWISTON — Pastor Ted Haggard will reveal his struggles with temptation in a filmed interview at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 30, at Lifetree Café, South Lewiston Baptist Church, 1919 Lisbon Road.

The program, “Temptation: Why Good Men Go Bad,” features Haggard, former pastor of a large church in Colorado Springs, Colo., and former president of the National Association of Evangelicals. Haggard was removed from his positions after an incident with a male prostitute.

“We are tempted because of ourselves. We are simultaneously saints and sinners,” Haggard says. “Everybody who is a believer is a saint by faith. Everybody who is on earth is a sinner. It’s a fact.”

Admission to the 60-minute event is free.

Lifetree Café is a place where people gather for conversation about life and faith in a casual, comfortable setting.
