RANGELEY — The Rangeley Friends of the Arts will present Burlington Taiko Group on International Night on Friday, July 8, at the Stephen A. Bean Municipal Airport. 

The event will begin with “The Taste of Japan” at 6 p.m.

Since 1987, Burlington Taiko has been playing for audiences the sounds of the taiko drum. The group has introduced over half a million people to the power of taiko at performances, including the 100th running of the Boston Marathon, Burlington’s annual First Night, the Black Ships Festival in Newport, R.I., and more than 200 corporate, collegiate and public performances.

Tickets cost $15 for adults, $10 for youths ages 18 and younger. Tickets may be purchased online at www.rangeleyarts.org, at the RFA Lakeside Theater box office, or at the door. Those people planning to attend should bring their own seating.
