1966 – 2016

DEXTER—Steven Wayne Bruce, 49, of Washington State and Dexter, died suddenly Sunday, June 26, the result of a tragic car crash.

He was born July 18, 1966, in Kennewick, Wash., the son of Donald and Lucinda (Osborne) Bruce. Steve enjoyed cooking and was a chef for many years in Lewiston.

He graduated in June of 2015 from Wyotech in Pennsylvania with a degree in automotive repair and welding. He worked in lumber mills and did small engine repairs.

He enjoyed many things such as family time, boxing, four-wheeling and paintballing. Steve was a caring compassionate man who would give the shirt off his back to anyone. He was a goofy guy who made everyone laugh.

Steve is survived by his mother, Lucinda Bruce of Idaho; three daughters, Tori Moulton of Dexter, Kayla Bruce and fiancé, Jake, of Turner, and Lauren Bruce of Bangor; a grandson, Zerrick Roy; and a granddaughter, who he did not get to meet, Jayla Pelletier, both of Turner; a sister, Tammy Nicely and husband, Richard of Idaho; a brother, Doug and wife, Diana, of Washington State; nieces and nephews; lifelong friend, Daniel Ward of Lewiston; and many other friends and family members.

He was predeceased by his father, Donald Bruce of Washington State.
