1941 – 2016

RUMFORD — Beverly Ann (Whittemore) Dorion, 74, of Rumford died Wednesday, June 29, at Rumford Community Home from dementia and a brain tumor.

She was born in Dixfield, Dec. 31, 1941, the daughter of Kenneth and Germaine Whittemore. Her siblings were Marlene Pagen, Shirley Brown, Lawrence Whittemore, Arthur Taylor. She was a 1960 graduate of Mexico High School, was employed at Diamond International and was a mom and wife.

She was married to Paul Dorion Sr. on Feb. 27, 1965. She was a devoted wife and mother and loved spending time with family, especially grandkids. She enjoyed music, plays, traveling, quilting, drawing, sewing, crafts and gardening.

She enjoyed Jehovah God’s wonderful creations and was an active member of the local congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She enjoyed talking to people about God’s word, the Bible.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Paul Dorion; daughter, Lynda Thomas of Greene; son, Paul Dorion Jr. and wife, Angie, of Waterboro; daughter, Debra Morrison and husband, James, of Rumford; daughter, Kerry Burgess and husband, Corey, of Rumford; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
