RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial for Doris Gallant Jensen was celebrated Thursday, June 30, 10 a.m., at the Parish of the Holy Savior, St. Athanasius – St. John Church in Rumford, with the Rev. Greg Dube as the celebrant.

Bernard Poirier was the altar assistant. Mark Belanger was the organist. Musical selections included “On Eagles Wings,” “Be Not Afraid,” “Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus” and “Eye Has Not Seen.” Old Testament reading was proclaimed by a granddaughter, Kara Jensen and the New Testament was proclaimed by a granddaughter, Cristen Morgan. Prayer of the Faithful was offered by a granddaughter, Dana Jensen. Offertory gifts were presented to the altar by two nieces, Janice Melton and Sharon Gates. The Eulogy was given by her son, Erik Jensen.

Committal prayers were recited by the Rev. Greg Dube. Interment was at the Sunnyside Cemetery in Rumford. A reception served by the Daughters of Isabella was held in the church hall.

Arrangements were under the direction of the Meader and Son Funeral Home, 3 Franklin St., Rumford.
