BOLTON VALLEY, Vt. — The wedding of Stephanie Louise Wallingford and Matthew David Custer was held at 3 p.m. on Feb. 20 at the Ponds at Bolton Valley in Bolton Valley, Vt. James Parolin, notary public, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Custer is the daughter of James and Louise Wallingford of Minot. Mr. Custer is the son of David and Barbara Custer of Coshocton, Ohio.

The bride, given in marriage by her parents, wore an ivory gown with A-line skirt, sweetheart neckline with lace appliques and beading. She carried a bouquet of ivory roses, ivory cymbidium orchids, ivory anemones, dusty miller, mini peonies and greens.

Kimberly and Katie Wallingford, sisters of the bride, were maids of honor and Victoria Hricko, friend, was bridesmaid. Evie and Isla Custer, nieces of the bridegroom, were flower girls.

Serving as best man was Daniel Custer, brother of the bridegroom. Ushers were Jason Brunelle and Henry MacVane, friends.

A reception followed at the Ponds at Bolton Valley, after which the couple traveled to Quebec City in Canada. They are residing in South Burlington, Vt.

The bride is a 2008 graduate of Poland Regional High School and a 2012 of the University of Vermont with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She is enrolled to get her master’s degree in teaching mathematics at the University of Vermont. She is a teacher at Barre Town Middle and Elementary School in Barre, Vt.

The bridegroom is a 1999 graduate of Coshocton High School and received a bachelor’ degree in economics in 2003 from Ohio State University. He is employed as EBI at Global Foundries in Essex, Vt.
