1937 – 2016

CANTON — N. Marla Mann, 78, a resident of Livermore, passed away Saturday, July 2, at Pinnacle Health & Rehabilitation (Victorian Villa) in Canton.

She was born Dec. 25, 1937, the daughter of Kenneth L. and Dorothy (Packard) Mann. She graduated from Livermore Falls High School in 1956 and received her associate degree in business from Fisher Junior College in Boston. Marla was a bank teller for Livermore Falls Trust Co. for 35 years before retiring in 1997.

Marla was a member of the First Baptist Church of Livermore Falls. She enjoyed watching the Red Sox, listening to music of the Gaithers, but above all else, she especially enjoyed spending time at the family camp on Round Pond.

She is survived by her cat, “Buffy”; her brother-in-law, James F. Holt; her nephew, Mark Holt and his wife, Lisa; and her great-niece, Mikala Holt, all of Livermore. She is also survived by two very special cousins, Ellen Ballou of Bath and Janet Houle of New Hampshire. She was predeceased by her parents; and her sister, Janys M. Holt.
