This is in response to a front page story, “Democrats blast way LePage finds funding for bills” (June 28).
Gov. Paul LePage seems to view himself as the decider when, in fact, he acts as if he were a petulant child — stomping his feet and wailing about how evil his adversaries are. His “my way or no way” attitude is so very sad. Maine’s citizens deserve better.
Compromise does not seem to be in LePage’s vocabulary. His actions and words show that.
As I expected, LePage introduced Donald Trump, the GOP’s presumptive nominee, at the Bangor rally Wednesday, then stepped back and assumed the role of a dedicated disciple of Trump. If his behavior weren’t so sad, it would be laughable.
Maybe LePage can dream about being the GOP’s candidate for vice president, causing me to laugh and not cry.
