SABATTUS — The Regional School Unit 4 board will hold a districtwide meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, at Oak Hill High School to vote on a proposed new school budget for the 2016-2017 year.
The proposed budget is about $100,000 less than the one voters rejected in a referendum in June. The superintendent said the reduction will not have an educational impact on the district.
The district towns, Sabattus, Litchfield and Wales, will each hold a referendum on the budget on Tuesday, July 26.
