KINGFIELD — The National Committee for Quality Assurance has announced that Mt. Abram Regional Health Center of Kingfield has received level 3 NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home recognition for using evidence-based, patient-centered processes that focus on highly coordinated care and long?term, participative relationships.

The NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home is a model of primary care that combines teamwork and information technology to improve care, improve patients’ experience of care and reduce costs.

The health center is accepting new patients. Cameron Bopp, MD, who joined the practice in April 2016, is seeing patients on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Shannon Munro, FNP, is seeing patients Tuesday through Friday. Munro is also available for appointments as early as 7:15 a.m. Wednesdays.
