GRAY — All Catholic men and their middle-school-age sons are invited to attend Entrust, a retreat and recreation day from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, at St. Gregory’s Campground, 24 North Raymond Road.

The event will include spiritual formation talks, team activities and sports competitions.

The retreat aims to offer spiritual formation in the form of talks and reflection; to help fathers become better Catholic leaders and their sons to hear the call of Christ; and to encourage the young people to form bonds with each other that they can nourish for years to come. The talks will be led by priests and seminarians of the Diocese of Portland.

The retreat will conclude with a special Mass at St. Gregory Church next to the campground. It will be celebrated by Bishop Robert P. Deeley.

Cost is $25 for father and son, and includes lunch.

Space is limited, and early registration is encouraged by visiting www.goodshepherdparish.us/events/entrust.
