LEWISTON — Pastime had its bats working Tuesday evening in a 9-2 Zone 2 semifinal win over Gardiner.

Pastime (20-0) belted out 14 hits, six of those being doubles. Eddie Turgeon had three hits, including two doubles. Brock Belanger, Kyle Bourget and Mitch Davis each had two hits, including a double. Nick Lerette also had a double. Austin Wing also had a pair of hits, including a triple.

After scoring two in the first, one in the second and one in the fourth, Pastime broke the game open in the bottom of the fifth with a four-run inning. They added one more in the sixth to take a 9-0 lead.

Nick Sanborn was Gardiner’s (10-10) lone repeat hitter, and the team scored its lone runs in the seventh and eighth innings.
