RUMFORD — Among the calls answered by the Police Department recently were:

* July 20, 9:36 a.m.: An Erchles Street resident reported the theft of a CMP electric meter. Patrolman James McLamb is investigating.

* July 19, 6:39 p.m.: Zachary J. Yahn, 26, of Rumford, was arrested on a charge of violation of conditions of release. He was transported to Oxford County Jail. Court date is Sept. 12.

* July 17, 10:08 p.m.: Dustin Roberge, 20, of Rumford, and Dylan Westleigh, 19, of Rumford, were arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct and summonsed on a charge of being a minor in possession of alcohol. They were transported to the jail. Court date is Sept. 12.

* July 14, 7:37 p.m.: Report of a shoplifter at a Waldo Street business. Patrolman Brad Gallant investigated and charged Nancy Robbins, 47, of Peru with theft. Court date is Sept. 12.

* July 11, 7:05 a.m.: Keith Geer, 21, of Rumford turned himself on a warrant charging failure to appear. Geer was unable to post bail and was transported to Oxford County Jail.

* July 10, 5:45 a.m.: Jordyn Turner, 18, of Mexico, was arrested on Porter Avenue on charges of operating while under the influence, operating without a license and illegal transportation of liquor by a minor. She was released on $800 unsecured bail. Court date is Aug. 8.
