RANGELEY — State Police say one man is dead and two others have been injured in a confrontation at a home in Rangeley early this morning, according to Stephen McCausland, spokesman for the Maine Department of Public Safety on Thursday.
Several people are being questions by detectives, he said in a release.
The two injured men were taken to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston and one of them is undergoing emergency surgery.
The incident took place at a home at 2564 Main St. around 2 a.m.
A team of detectives are in Rangeley and also in Farmington, working out of the Farmington Police Department. More information is expected to be released by early afternoon.
