Play museum showing outdoor movie
WILTON — Western Maine Play Museum will feature “Inside Out” as its outdoor summer children’s movie, which will be shown during the Blueberry Festival.
The movie will start at 8:15 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5, at the museum on Main Street. The rain date will be Sunday, Aug. 7.
Admission will be $4 per person and $10 per family. Those attending should bring a blanket or chairs to sit on under the stars. Popcorn will be available for purchase.

Book sale to benefit library
WILTON — A gigantic book sale featuring a well sorted-collection of good-0condition books for people of all ages and interests will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5, and from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, at Western Maine Development, 128 Weld Road, next to the Wilton Town Office.
All proceeds benefit the Wilton Public Library.

St. Luke’s lobster roll lunch
WILTON — St. Luke’s Episcopal Church will hold its yearly lobster roll bagged lunch fundraiser for the Wilton Blueberry Festival on Friday, Aug. 5.
Lunches will be sold in the church yard, and will be delivered to the Wilton/Farmington/Jay/Livermore Falls/Livermore area from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Cost is $15, and delivery is free.

GREENWOOD — The annual Blueberry Festival will be from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, at Locke Mills Union Church.

RUMFORD — The Oxford Hills Honey Bee Club’s annual potluck summer gathering will be at noon on Saturday, Aug. 13, at Fox Run Farm on Wyman Hill Road.

WILTON — Western Maine Play Museum will have a box fort activity and face painting during the Blueberry Festival from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, at the museum.
Mannix appearing at South Paris church
PARIS — WCSH 6 meterologist Kevin Mannix and his wife, Linda Rota, will visit the First Congregational Church in South Paris on Sunday, Aug. 7.
They will join the Rev. Don Mayberry for a conversational sermon on the focus of their book, “Weathering Shame.” The two will sign copies of their book after the sermon.
Music will be provided by The Vocal Solution, a six-member a cappella group from central/western Maine.
The church is located at 17 East Main Street, South Paris, and is wheelchair-accessible. Everyone is welcome.
Bikers riding to Buckfield
RUMFORD — United Bikers of Maine, Oxford County, will hold its monthly meeting on Sunday, Aug. 7.
All motorcyclists, motorcycle riders, members and nonmembers, as well as the public, are welcome.
Bikers will leave from the Rumford Information Center at 10 a.m. to ride to Captain Bly Restaurant and Tavern on Route 117 in Buckfield.
Meeting topics will include upcoming riding events, motorcycle legislation and membership. Calendars, newsletters, patches and stickers will be available.

Mahoosuc celebrating project phase completion
RUMFORD — The Mahoosuc Land Trust will celebrate the newly completed first phase of linking the Ellis River Valley to the summit of Rumford Whitecap from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 7.
Event will take place 1 mile north of the intersection of the Andover and East Andover roads.
This will be an opportunity to walk, meet friends and neighbors, and hear about plans for trails and river access.
