Otisfield Sewing and Craft Group 

OTISFIELD — The Otisfield Sewing and Craft Group meet from 12:30 to 3 p.m. Wednesdays at the Otisfield Community Hall. The group does not meet the third Wednesday of the month.

The club members put on the tea kettle and and meet to work on individual and group projects and share ideas, skills, books and patterns. Projects members work on include knitting, crocheting, quilting, painting, fabric painting, card making from scraps, sewing table runners, making Christmas crafts and zentangle.

Wilton yard sale, sandwich luncheon

WILTON — The Wilton United Methodist Church will host a yard sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5. 

Hot dogs, desserts and drinks will also be for sale.

There will be a sandwich luncheon from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6. There will be lobster rolls, meatball subs, chicken salad and egg salad on Saturday, Aug. 6. Desserts and drinks will be for sale.

The Country Square Quilters will display their quilts in the church sanctuary from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.

FAYETTE — The Underwood Memorial Library will hosts its summer story hour at 10 a.m. Thursdays through Aug. 25.

There will be a different theme each week. Children may have some summer fun with Lady Elaine and her helpers.

Honey Bee Club potluck

RUMFORD — The Oxford Hills Honey Bee Club’s annual potluck summer gathering will be at noon on Saturday, Aug. 13, at Fox Run Farm on Wyman Hill Road.

Those attending should bring their favorite dish and a lawn chair.
